Traditional Tale Detectives.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA — Look at what we found when we came back from lunch! A crime scene just waiting to be discovered! We looked carefully at the scene and were able to determine that this is something we are all familiar with … Goldilocks has been here! We have described the scene and listened to the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. 2W are currently re-telling the story. This is the launch of our first unit of work in English; Traditional Tales. We will be listening to lots of different stories, using drama to explore characters and themes and writing our own tales too.

New Term, New Topic – Toys and Games.

2W have already made a fantastic start to our new term and it’s only 10 o’ clock! Our exciting new topic is ‘Toys and Games’ and we are currently drawing our favourite toys and games and annotating the pictures with information. We are writing about why the toys are our favourites, who gave them to us, what they’re made of, how we play with them, etc, etc. Have a look at the photos to see if you can tell what we most enjoy playing with.
