Just look at these fantastic models that 3A have made of Anderson shelters.
These shelters were used during the Blitz. I really like the different materials that were used.
As well as models, some children chose to produce pamphlets or posters. More updates soon – until then…
Keep calm and carry on!
The sound of a bell ringing signalled that it was time for work for 3A’s news hungry journalists!!!
Our task was to plan out the 5Ws for a news article based on our class book – The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
We’ll be writing our articles next week, check back and see how we’ve done.
We have been working on our multiplication skills in Year 3. As part of this we have been discussing ‘factors’. These are numbers which multiply together to make a ‘product’.
I was very impressed when these three children figured out which number, when multiplied by 200, would make 100!
Can you work out which of these is the missing factor? Explain how you figured out your answer…
___ X 200 = 100
It’s not all maths and literacy, you know! We’re very proud of the wide range of opportunities our children have. Here are 3A having their weekly strings lesson.
Every child in Year 3 gets the chance to learn either the violin or the cello.
How cool is that?
