This week’s Home Learning – Enjoy!
3AS just wanted to share this week’s topic work. We all created our very own ‘pop-up’ 3D Workhouses.
We used these to display the facts we had discovered about life and conditions within Victorian Workhouses. The children really put a lot of effort into making sure they looked fantastic.
Please make sure the toy you choose to bring in, is not:
- electrical/battery operated
- of high value – monetary or sentiment
- small enough to fit on a desk sensibly – i.e. no Giant Bears pls
This week is made of Bricks!
After the success of our Stickman work, 3AS have been using Lego to explore multiplication facts. We have looked at arrays and factors and all the different maths work we could see when presented with a table full of lego!
(Apologies for the sideways photos – this is a problem with the blog – if you select an image it will display correctly).
3AS had a great time exploring the maths they could find within the humble little plastic blocks.
