On Friday 19th October we held our Harvest Festival Assembly. This was a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to consider the beliefs and experiences of some people in our local community. We were kindly joined by Rev. David Howland who helped us understand how Christians celebrate at this time of year.
We also had the chance to reflect on how we can care for those less fortunate than ourselves, including our efforts to collect donations for the Lewisham Foodbank. Take a look below at everything we managed to collect. These items will go to help local families and children in need.
Thank you to all our families for their generosity in donating.
The whole school were treated to a performance by the Edmund Waller School Orchestra this week. It was fantastic, and a real testament to the dedication and commitment of the children AND the adult volunteers.
