It’s almost over! All you parents will be so pleased to see your children, right? Answer in the comment section, let’s have a chat!
On Wednesday we went to Needles awesome chairlift ride! The chairlift took us down to Freshwater Bay, and a rocky beach.
This rocky beach is where we all sat down and watched the waves. Mmmmmmarvellous! Well, after that we went back up the chairlift and went to a shop. A sand shop. It was a SANDSATION 😄
After that we when on a walk through the woods and up a hill, well, we thought it was a hill but we where actually on the edge of a cliff!
And to finish of the day we when they to the beach, it was nice and sunny so we spent most of our time there in the sea. IT WAS FREEZING!!!!!!!😱😱😱So now we are going to enjoy our last night here. But we never want it to end, it’s been so fun.😭
While some of Year 6 are off exploring the Isle of Wight, we here are working hard!!
Today, we completed some very complex ‘pursuit curves’. These were made even harder by the fact we had to start off by drawing a regular hexagon, using a compass!? Ouch!
We’re pretty pleased with the end results. We may even put them up on display…

You can help your child by using the lyrics that have been published below.
Clicking on the hyperlinks will take you to a Youtube version of each song.

Over the past three of weeks 1G have been working on their fruit kebabs. Our first step was to design the fruit kebab. We chose the fruits we would put on them and which order they would be in. Next we used this design to make a prototype of our fruit kebab. We used coloured card and skewers and we were careful to follow it exactly. For the final stage we made the kebabs out of fresh fruit and skewers following the prototype.
We are now ready for our ‘Memorable Event’. We will make the fruit kebabs with our parents and carers on Thursday 7th July at 3:45 in 1G’s classroom.
We look forward to seeing our parents and carers there!
